DMCA Policy

BlooketCheat respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we will respond promptly to copyright infringement notices that comply with the requirements below.

1. Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that content on BlooketCheat.com infringes your copyright, please send a written DMCA takedown notice to our designated DMCA agent at the contact information provided below. Your notice must include all of the following:

Required elements of a valid DMCA notice:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work: A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, or if multiple works are covered, a representative list.
  2. Identification of infringing material: A description of the material you claim is infringing and its exact location on our website (URL). Be as specific as possible.
  3. Your contact information: Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  4. Good faith statement: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. Accuracy statement: A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
  6. Signature: Your physical or electronic signature.

2. Where to Send DMCA Notices

Submit DMCA takedown notices to our designated agent:

Warning: Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees. Do not submit false DMCA notices.

3. Our Response Process

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we will:

  1. Promptly review the notice for completeness and validity
  2. Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content if the notice is valid
  3. Notify the user who posted the content (if applicable) that the content has been removed
  4. Provide the user with a copy of the DMCA notice (with your personal contact info redacted)
  5. Inform the user of their right to file a counter-notification

4. Counter-Notification Process

If you believe your content was removed as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. To be valid, your counter-notification must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature
  2. Identification of the removed content and its location before removal
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the content was removed by mistake or misidentification
  4. Your full name, address, telephone number, and email address
  5. A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for your district (or if outside the U.S., any judicial district in which BlooketCheat may be found)

Submit counter-notifications to the same DMCA agent address above with the subject line "DMCA Counter-Notification."

After receiving a valid counter-notification, we may restore the removed content within 10–14 business days unless the original complainant notifies us they have filed a court action.

5. Repeat Infringers

BlooketCheat has a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, users who are determined to be repeat infringers. If you believe a user of our platform is repeatedly infringing copyrights, please notify us at dmca@blooketcheat.com with the subject line "Repeat Infringer Report."

6. Open Source & Fair Use

Much of the code available on our platform is licensed under the MIT License or other open-source licenses. Before submitting a DMCA notice for code content, please verify that the material is not already covered by an open-source license that permits the use you've identified.

We also believe in fair use — our guides and educational content may reference or describe copyrighted material for commentary, educational, and informational purposes, which may constitute fair use under applicable law.

7. Non-DMCA Copyright Concerns

For copyright concerns that don't require a formal DMCA takedown (e.g., attribution requests, licensing inquiries), please contact us at blooketcheat.com/contact/ or email legal@blooketcheat.com. We're happy to work with rights holders to resolve issues quickly and cooperatively.
